FUNERAL
PHOTOGRAPHY

Why have a photographer at a funeral?

There's so much emotion in this time of ceremony when our loved ones take their final journey, we get to do this once for them. Capturing our final goodbye to be place at the finale of their era in the family album.

In my experience as a professional funeral photographer the sad moments are held together by feelings of love, life, legacy & community that truly comes out in times of mourning.

The value of having a professional photographer present can also mean smart phone cameras can be put away with mourners being able to resting assure knowing that side of things is being taken care of.

Many find being able to revisit memories of the day therapeutic in the grieving process.

Photos can also be shared with loved ones who couldn't make it on the day ensuring  they feel part of their  farewell.

Preserving the legacy in this keepsake to hand down to generations to come in their community.

Professionalism at all times

Before the day we will discuss your requirements & boundaries. I'll communicate with the funeral home & person conducting the ceremony so they will be aware of my presence making sure I have a clear understanding of their boundaries so the day runs smoothly with respect for all.

Why choose a funeral photographer over another professional photographer?

I'm a professional photographer with an experience of dealing with death. I bring this into my work with my style being one that tells stories,  stories of true human emotions & the every day experiences of life.  With life we experience death. I photograph these moments with pride & the focus being on respect, fully respecting the grieving process is at the core of my values.

I have an eye for picking up on the tiniest & hidden depths of raw emotions.

My aim is to give an honest documentary of your loved ones farewell, approaching every funeral with empathy & sensitivity. I provide a service that is both respectful & supportive.
